OMG, hon, that sounds terrible! Those damn smartass doctors, I really hate 'em sometimes. It reminds me of a frightening moment in my life when my mom started having chest pains and we took her to the hospital - and what does the doctor say? Oh, she's fine, she just has a stomachache! An effing stomachache! Thankfully, though, we were able to finally get her admitted and thoroughly checked over - though the thing that still worries me is that, if we hadn't, she might have DIED, as it really WAS her heart. I'm sorry, I don't mean to scare you more or anything, but I guess what I'm saying is don't give up, and don't let those doctors take advantage of you the way they tried to do my mom. Stand your ground, and if one doctor won't help you, forget 'em and try seeing another. And I really hope you get to feeling better, hon! *huggles* And keep us posted to how you're doing...

Omg! I got those before! I know how you feel, baby! If you check a few entries back, you can see what I went through. It's so fucking painful. It was so painful I was almost in tears. If you develop another abscess, there's a good chance that you may have Pilonidal Disease. Here's more info on it. I actually had to have surgery to remove the entire sinus in my ass and I have a terrible scar due to it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know. I know exactly what you're going through.

oh my god! i know exactly waht you are talking about and the scared pain you are feeling right now. oh god, i am so sorry. truly. i know that it is not funny what-so-ever. I know how scared you are. I had a boil on my crack. I thought that i had just bruised my tailbone so I didn't do anything about it for weeks...letting it incubate in my sweat and heat it turns. It just kept growing and growing and me not realizing what it really was and how bad it was of me to not get it checked out. Finally I go to the doctor because I couldn't sit anymore..literally. He opened me up (which hurt like a mofo) and found this huge boil. It was the MOST MOST MOST painful experience I have ever gone through adn still shutter to this day whenIt hink about it. I pray to dear God that it will never return. The other day I was worried it had because I had the same pain etc. My woman looked at it and saw that it was just an opened sore on the same spot that the boil had been. We took care of it right away with some band aid spray stuff..which thank the lord ( ... )

oh, and I screamed my ass off as well like a little child. People in the hallways were scared shitless because of the screams I was letting out.

lol. I know I kept wondering what ppl in the halls were thinking the doctor was doing to me b/c of my screams. :-p
And just like you to this day I'm scared to death when the subject of boils or abscesses arise. I'm reading a book and they use "just like lancing a boil" to describe something, I threw the book down and thought I was going to be sick. And the other day (i can't remember what I was watching) but they were talking about lancing abscesses, i couldn't turn the channel fast enough. I feel the type of fear that ppl who are afriad of.... say snakes feel when they come across one, everytime I hear about abscesses and boils. I know it such a silly thing to be afraid of, but after what I wen through I have the right! lol :-p
