my basil is also plagued with something and i can't figure it out. I don't know if it's still safe to eat. the leaves are mottled with these gray dots.

congrats on the engagement - thien and i disucssed driving up but i might be working fulltime this summer, altho maybe not by august. i'd love to come up and celebrate!
i dont know what those spots are - do they look like rust? fungal spores, or those little insects whose name i cant think of. chances are if it washes off it's safe to eat....the uc davis ipm website (i think theres a link on the mainpage)should have info on diagnosis and treatment
still studying...want to be napping...
