The ROOF!

*Kira is standing in the simulator, using his roof simulation yet again. This time he is clutching his shoulder and kneading it every so often while he stares at the simulated evening twilight. He has been here for hours, not really doing anything. Just staring... and thinking.*

It's not the same. This isn't just any roof... it's the EDF dorm roof. Where Quatre used to play his violin and Setsuna and I used to amble away the hours talking.

Not a problem at all. And I took that advice to heart. I spent a large portion of that year in bed practicing.

You know, we've got a perfectly good roof on the GDF tower and I was kind of hoping to get some practice in.

*He then leaves the room and sits down on a chair in the control area.*

*Duo gets in and is about to close the door, but he hesitates.*

I've been better, but I'm not doing terrible either. My arm hurts, it's a constant reminder that I am most likely dying. But that doesn't even bother me that much.

In some ways... I wish it bothered me more. But that's not really worth worrying about.

Anyways, there's been this nagging feeling I've had for a while and I guess you're the person to go to about this specifically. It's about that SEED thing we talked about before... is there anyone else you know who can do it?

Hmm... lots of little things. Like how ironic it is that I have survived numerous explosions but may lose my life to the graze of my shoulder by a bullet. How beautiful the sky was from the EDF dorm. How the breeze was never the same after the EDF base was destroyed.

Nostalgia really. I am thinking nostalgic thoughts.

I was feeling restless. Also... my arm hurts, which is making it harder for me to sleep.

I see... I guess you must miss it.

Sometimes. I guess its less that I miss the roof and more that I have a lot of memories attached to it. The view, the breeze, the sunset. It's nostalgic.
