I am looking for someone to draw and/or design a cover for my EP, it's in it's finishing stages. If I used your picture/final design, I would pay you for it (not very much, but a little bit!). Is anyone interested? Please say you are ( Read more... )

I'm trying to get going as a freelance graphic designer at the moment and could certainly use some more work, but I've never designed an album cover before (except for that "put itunes on shuffle to make an album" meme *lol*) Do you have something specific in mind already?

I don't have anything specific in mind, like, at all. I am no good at ideas. I know I want something relatively simple? With the title. As for pictures or graphics, I'm really wide open.

you should totally do like a competition. The winning design gets the cover! Advertise it in some graphic communities.

I think it depends on what you WANT for your album art? I might know someone! This is Katie, she's one of my employees/friends, and I think she's gonna have a table at HalCon if you want to check out more of her work. She does commissions! But I just keep saving stuff she doodles on our daily schedules and sticking them on the employee notice boards. http://buuya.deviantart.com/

EDIT: she doesn't just draw owls, by the by. It's just "Owltober" and therefore it's her daily doodle.
