you don't need Kazaa*, use Bittorent, BitTornado, and SuprNova.org (note the misspelling). Of course, that's assuming you can leave the program running overnight, as that's when the seeds are open, usually.

*blind search, Sears has it blocked, but i'm 95% sure that's where I got it from, recently.

which would i prefer? a mix of the two. suprnova has newer movies and tv shows and dvds and games and comics CD's and more and more and more... the problem (same as kazaa's) is that the download speed depends on the popularity of that particular file. if you're looking for one specific music track, try kazaa. if you're looking for the whole album, start with suprnova.org. as far as video media, suprnova is far better than kazaa could ever wish to be.

i really just want video media. i don't download music anymore. i have too much as it is, and i can find pretty much anything i'm ever looking for on epitonic, insound, or band and label websites.

thanks, kliffers.

I use limewire. It suits my purposes.

do your purposes include downloading tv shows? i started downloading stuff on the other computer, but then realized that our network connection doesn't seem to include file sharing. or at least i haven't figured it out. so now i have to download something on this computer.

limewire is closer to what i'm used to, so it would be nice to have something useful and familiar.

Generally, no, because I'm on dial-up. But I have searched for various things such as Curb Your Enthuisiasm (larry david, sorry) and found them in abundance.
