!!!

I used to want one of those.

What person who plays trumpet WOULDN'T want one of those, though? (I don't play anymore, fyi)

but yeah. um. this guy who used to be in a band with my brother had one. and everyone liked to stare at it. it was cool.

i haven't played regularly since 2000. i also haven't owned a horn ever, though. so i'd really like to start up playing again, even if i don't have anyone to play with.

a guy i knew from music camp had one. it was so pretty. but it wasn't black. i'm afraid to play my horn in public. everyone will be envious.

I heard that the smaller ones are harder to play.

I'd like to learn again, too.

But I'd also like to learn piano.

And piano is a lot more practical. Especially since we have one.

Not that I can't do both, but yeah. I'm not very motivated to learn two instruments, let alone one.

yeah, i have a habit of picking up instruments and then never fully learning them. i've done that with keyboards, guitar, and, on a lesser scale, bass. i was also bidding on a mandolin from the same seller, but it went too high. but since i played cornet and various other brass instruments for about 10 years before i left the church, i can validate this purchase, since i'm not getting yet another instrument i can't play.

I think Shibboleth would be a good name.

this could be true.
and then everyone would call him Shibby.

but it sounds like a name with meaning. and, if questioned on it, i wouldn't have an answer.
