I've heard good things about Bill Bryson. Some kid I studied abroad with wanted to be him, I think.

I've only read this one book of his. It was a good read. I learned and was amused simultaneously. You can't ask for more than that.

Aw, I wanted the Wallace Stegner book. Damn!

As for that B Bryson book, all I can say is, "Katz! Katz! Katz!".

Guess what book is next to to me? A Thousand Splendid Suns. Haha! But I don't want to crack that puppy open yet so... no meme! Just getting ready to pack it.
