My husband and I watched Return of the King tonight-the extended version.  Wow, for some reason I bawled as hard as I did the first time I saw it.  My goodness, I just love that film so much.  When the Hobbits are all sobbing there at the harbor-wow.

How weird, I went back and rewatched Return of the King last night too *g* I greatly enjoyed it once again because I hadn't watched it in a long time.

Ahh, I love RotK. Peter Jackson did such a great job, even though I complained through it the first few times about cuts and edits. :/

I read the books every year. Really the best fiction ever written.

I've never finished reading Return of the King. My husband just shakes his head at me. I had never read The Hobbit or any of the LotR books before the movies started coming out, but then I think I started getting burnt out on Tolkien. -another thing that my husband shakes his head at. Oh well!

I've read them almost yearly since my teens and still enjoy them every time.

Tolkien and CS Lewis are my all time favorite writers.

I'm embarrassed to say I haven't read much C.S. Lewis. My twelve year old has read more than I have. I think I'll rectify that soon.

Actually, I was just about to get myself over to FICL and do some reading and rating. With my new Twilight love, I haven't been reading much HP fanfic. -Don't tell D&G!
