Wow, what a weekend.  I can't remember the last time I had such an enjoyable weekend of pure fun and selfishness.  It made me realize I should do it a LOT more often!

For those of you who might have missed it, persephone33 and I met up over the weekend in Denver and attended the Mile High Music festival.  We saw some great bands (a horrific one, too) including

I'm SO SO glad you're home! And I'm glad you got to have a weekend just for YOU (and Carrie, and Paolo)! And he talked to you!! HEE!!

Yeah - I'm almost as squeeful as you are and I wasn't even there! HEE! Shar kept giving us play by plays - "Celeste is screaming in my ear..." and it was just a fun day all round. :D

Glad you're home though. Missed you both tons!

Yup. He talked to me. I wish I would have thought to tell him I liked his music or something, but I was all speechless.

I thought I should let you know that the copy of Sunny Side Up I had ordered arrived today. I've already listened to it three times. I like it a lot at third listen. While I doubt I'll be as big a fan as you (is that even possible?), I suspect I'll end up a fan to some degree. So consider me another convert. Now I think I'll have to get my hands on the other album too. Thank you for the recommendation! :)

I can't remember where you are geographically, but he'll be touring the US for the next two months! Tickets (if you don't buy them at a festival) are relatively inexpensive.

How did I miss commenting on this and your other recent lj posts? I love the pictures of Paolo, and especially the fact that YOU got to be close enough to him to take them, but my favorite is the one of you and Carrie looking all happy and girlfriend-y together. It's THE BEST thing ever.
