So Sakura-chan thinks it would be a good idea to do something together as Team Seven ‘cause we haven’t done that in a while and I didn’t realise it was so long, y’know, it’s really easy to lose track in this place but I think it’s a good idea only I don’t want Sakura-chan to have to make all the food herself so I was gonna bring something as a surprise so I was wondering if you could maybe show me how to make some of those bentos because I’m not very good at ‘em and you’re good at ‘em and I don’t wanna make Sakura-chan sick.

Itachi, this is Valeria. I wanted to let you know that Kisame and I will be leaving Kirigakure shortly to visit Konohagakure for a few days. I know you two are close, so it might be a good opportunity for you two get together and catch up.

[ A pause. ]

I was also thinking that, if you are, Akira, and Naruto aren't opposed, perhaps we could all get together and do something? But there's no big hurry. We'll be in Konoha for a few days at least. Take your time and get back to me when you can.

[Itachi is surprised that she would be the one to inform him of their impending arrival, rather than Kisame doing it himself. But it is a gesture he can appreciate, despite his skepticism about her whirlwind love affair with his partner.]

This is a welcome opportunity. If Kisame prefers, I'll await you at the gates.

It seems my uncle is already planning a large gathering, but a smaller, quieter one can be organized as well. I do not believe Naruto or Akira will mind, but I will ask them before we make any final decisions.

[ And Valeria has turned her head upward and looks inquiringly at her husband, still brimming with a pleasant sort of excitement. She moves the Hitomi somewhat further from her face then and lowers it, tilting it slightly upward as she addresses her husband, upon whose lap she is sitting. If her position is any indication, "Please please please please please pleaaaaaase," tends to work best from there. ]

Kisame?

[ Kisame smiles at Valeria in the meantime, before leaning forward a little, dipping his head down into the space over her shoulder; it's enough to bring part of his face into view of her Hitomi's screen. Obviously he hadn't informed Itachi of this himself because he was sitting by and listening to his wife do it. ]

Sounds great. I'm looking forward to seeing you, Itachi-san--Naruto and Akira, too. We both are. Don't stress yourself or anything over this though, okay?

[Itachi can see them both on the screen and he can't help but smile softly at how unbelievably happy Kisame looks. Of course, he always looks happy in some way--usually amused is more like it--but the expression in his eyes and the upturn of his lips is so genuine.

He knows that Valeria better live up to Kisame's view of her.]

Oh don't worry, Kisame. I'll be waiting for you as I always do. You should join us for dinner as well.

[Of course this means he will be making sure to cook foods he knows Kisame likes for dinner, so he needs to make sure he has everything he needs--but he's not stressing himself out at all. He's just being prepared.]
