The last two weeks have been the worst for traffic in atlanta. which is pretty bad seeing that this one of the worst griddlocked jams in the country. cell phones, people reading papers, and even putting on make up cause these massive pile-ups. surface streets and leaving home at 6:30 cant even save you from bumper to bumper.

Gyms are full. Lunch lines are packed with people who are bitter at their new years promises, i have to get the salad and not the whopper w/cheese. people are waiting for the approiate time to betray themselves yet another year. If i skip running today i will run tomorrow, i promise. maybe this year we can keep the goals we gave ourselves.

I am ready for the weekend. I got so much to do and only weekend to do it in. last nite i stayed up way too late, discussing politics and the state of our society as a whole. picture a mini crossfire inside a waffle house @ 2AM.
It was very interesting. Bill Maher would be proud......

bread and milk are in short supply. reasons why i think the media is paid off by the grocery stores. after hearing all day that you are going to be trapped for hours(maybe days) by a "huge" ice storm
people cave in and go shopping "just in case" they can't make it out. winter in georgia full of surprises.......
