Apparently, when I register my cars with the DMV, it also is logged into the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Thief Database (CMTD) so it takes the guesswork out of where my car is for thieves, and what goods may or may not be in my car at the time so they can quickly and easily break into my car to take what they would like
