This was a really good 'what if' scenario with a lovely twist at the end (which really demands a sequel if at all possible)!

There were some excellent moments in this great story - Ironhide's two answers, Prowl being devious, Megatron fritzing out...nicely done!

I also like your characterizations, especially the stages Megatron went through in his attempts to get Prowl to defect and Jazz's drinking game based on the offers.

Thank you! I'm not sure about a sequal - I'm starting to get a few little ideas, but not certain of a full storyline yet.

As for Megs.. I imagine that getting your aft kicked by a bunch of clerks and dockworkers for a few hundred thousand vorns would tend to make you really sincere in your begging. :D

Oh, I liked this! The thought of Megatron trying to lure Prowl to his side any way possible seems like something he'd really do!
And bravo on Prowls little kinked out 'no' reply! XD

*grins* I have this image of a very pathetic Megatron lying there trying to offer Prowl energon goodies to switch sides while Prime has his foot on Megs' back and a gun to his head. The mech just *never* gives up!

I'm actiually considering posting a more... involved version of this story - the idea was originally a sticky fic (but since I've never written sticky I wasn't sure if I could pull it off). A lot of the 'action' that causes Megatron to fritz happens 'off camera' - in the original, it wasn't off camera.

Ah well, maybe.

Oh, please, post the more involved version of this! (And if you'd like, I'll gladly volunteer to beta it for you. I like sticky, and have read my fair share.)

I can just imagine Starscream, somehow, getting a hold of Prowl's rejection and playing it in front of all the other Decepticons hoping to humiliate Megatron and further discredit him as a leader. Instead, the Decepticons get a free porno show, Prowl is suddenly even more "respected" by the Decepticons, and poor Jazz is either heckled or propositioned by every 'Con he meets in battle from then on.

Then some 'Con gets the idea that maybe Prowl would defect if they somehow get Jazz and found a way to keep him from leaving the Decepticons...

I'll just leave the rest up to your imagination.

Personally, I think Prowl is a very devious mech - he just likes to hide it so as to lull his enemies into complacency.

Makes the surprise all that much more shocking - hence the reason Megs fried so easily. :D
