Wow, you have the patience of a saint! I never would have survived without the internet for so long. Glad to hear you're back and connected with the rest of the world *hugs*
Thanks! Yeah, it was only totally unbearable during the winter months, and the miserable spring until I discovered that my local library had internet access. Thay allowed 2 hours a day per person, assuming you could reserve a slot on a computer. Plus, a 45-minute walk while pushing a 30 pound stroller, a 40 pound baby, and about 20 pounds of extra baby-care stuff and toys made it a bit more difficult, especially when you don't know just when baby is going to get hungry or need a change. Plus, people in a library aren't very tolerant of a crying baby, so there were times that I made the walk just to leave after 15 minutes. :/
And I thought you were brave before but this just takes the cake! I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have made that 45-minute walk so ofter, even if it's for the Internet. On the bright side that walk probably was a really good form of exercise? ^^
Actually yes, it was good exercise. :D When I started in the spring it took me 45 minutes to walk to distance, now it only takes about 25 if I go at a fast pace.
What can I say, I was pretty desperate for internet access. *shrug*
