Envy! We never get any conventions around here, and I can't exactly afford to go out of town. :(

I tend to spend time on the net staring at pictures of the costumes people wear when they go to cons instead.

Where about do you live? There are conventions all over... Or you could be dorky like me and just make costumes to play in!

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The only convention to ever happen here was a Star Trek convention back in 1995, and it kinda sucked. How bad? Shatner was the only guest, he screwed up his opening joke, and he left after 10 minutes. THAT's how bad it sucked. -.-

I'm a 4 hour drive from Toronto, where they do have conventions all the time, but there's no way I can go. :/

Heh, I have no costume-making skills whatsoever.. that's why I write. :D
