You've probably seen the vids of this kid, they've been making the rounds of the net for a few days now. Casey Heynes, a big-boned kid from Australia, was being bullied by a group of other kids at school, and finally had enough. As a mom, I applaud Casey. Let me start (and finish with), "I agree."

Struck back at a bully once myself, and ended up set in the metaphorical corner for recess (elementary school) for a couple days. He kicked me day after day, enough to knock me down, and I pinched him and left a darned good bruise. Sometimes the only thing you can do is strike back, regardless of the consequences.

This kid reminds me of Ender, from Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.
He fights, and not only does he fight to win the battle, he fights he win the war. The bully had friends, you can see them a bit at the beginning of the video, and since it's being recorded, another of the bully's friends is holding the camera. That makes it at least 3 against 1, so he had to win fast and in such a way that the other bullies wouldn't make a move against him.

I think he did a pretty good job of it. :D
