I love your premise, but before I start reading - how long is this in total and at what rate will you be putting up new chapters?

All the chapters average 4,000 words. I should have seven or eight chapters total, and I'll put them up as fast as my betas give me the go-ahead. Seriously, I've been trying to get this fic moving for a year, and now that it finally IS moving I want to finish it and get it up as fast as I can. I'm not going to skimp on quality and a good edit, though, for the sake of speed, which I'm sure you understand.

I really like this. It's rare to see a portrait of the Malfoys as a real family who love each other--I think this is the aspect I like best in the fic.

Wow, this is a really interesting fic :) As soon as I saw the tagline I knew I had to read it, because I've always wondered what will happen to Grimmauld Place now that Sirius is dead. The rest of it is good as well, and I really look forward to reading more!

Thank you! I've wondered about the house for a while, now, and thankfully I have an attorney for a beta who is just wonderful about my getting all the legalities right. I figured when she didn't email me and say, "Your story cannot work because Narcissa could never make an argument for being Sirius's next of kin," then I was good to go.
