My beloved Arrow passed away last week. He was about 14 1/2 years old and had been with me (and Jeff) for 13 1/2 of those years. He was the best of many wonderful and Beloved 4-footed friends of my life. Almost a week later, I still tear up whenever I think of losing him. Thank you, Jon. And know that your HUGS are definitely returned with gratitude.
Also, I received a couple of phone calls last night . . . it looks like I might be fostering a senior male Golden Receiver starting this evening. If Maggie would have problems with that, I received a promise that the foster boy can be cared for by others for the next few weeks, if necessary.

Jon, you would so adore Doug the senior Golden Retriever who will probably be coming back to live with me soon. His current Foster is making arrangements now that we've met and everyone approves of everyone else. He won't be back here until Friday Morning though. Want to leave Maggie here overnight? 😇

I am so sorry, my dear.
This never, ever gets any easier. All my thoughts are with you.

Thank you, Dear Lady!
I guess that I would never truly WANT it to "get easier". Except that it does hurt so much . . . every time. Maybe it could get a bit easier with just as much Love rolled into it all any way, but I wouldn't ever agree to having to do without our 4-footed friends, entirely. Not ever!

Thank you, My Friend. I'll be posting a more positive and slightly newsy post soon. Hopefully early this morning, if I can squeeze it in before I have to Clock-in for Work.
Take care and be well. I see some sunrise colors through the living room window. Must step out to get a better view.

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our cat in December and I still tear up from time to time about it.

Thank you for your caring. I'm sorry to read of your loss, too. This sorrow is just a small payment for the joy and fortune of having four-footed friends in our lives. I'm sure you'll agree. Hugs and prayers for both of us and our beloved Friends who have gone ahead of us.
