Trying to Do Better . . .
In an attempt to re-build Better habits--like posting more often on LJ (in case you hadn't jumped to that realization)--I'm writing a little post before sitting in front of my Work Computer and earning my pay. And I hope to do so more often in the future, although I have not yet figured out what frequency would be both Good and Do-able for me. So ( Read more... )

I was sure I replied to your comment yesterday! I apologize for missing you, which I Never want to do to anyone kind enough to visit, read, and comment. My Friend, I hope with all my might that you and sweet Maggie pull up to my house in the shiny new marvel of rolling travel that you SHOULD SOON HAVE!!!! I'll come kick some rat-fink butt for you, if necessary.
Other than that . . . I'm totally used to being as Square as Square Can Be. I AM wrestling with conscience and desire and remembering how painful it can be to be even less financially safe as I am. Know that I will consider and weigh things very hard and careful.

Attending the State Fair is a smart decision! I've yet to meet Maggie. I know she's a very large golden retriever and am happy you kept her company and she you. I've got to be very careful about money, too. I'm going to be paying rent on two apartments for September until I get moved. Lots of love!

The State Fair is always fun and interesting. But the finances are neither. Who knows . . . Maybe something magical and wonderful will happen. Whether or not the State Fair is waiting in the next week or so for me, I will still persevere. I WILL. I INSIST on that.

When purchasing new electronics, choose products from companies with strong EPR policies and sustainability practices. Look for certifications that indicate environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

That is good advice. However, I am not likely to by any new electronics any time soon, my dear. My finances pretty much insist I make do with years-old and still functioning equipment. But I don't really need more--although new stuff is fun to dream about, you know. 😃
Take good care of yourself and allow yourself a bit of fun. Anyway, I try to go that way.
