Tuckered and Grimy
Today Jeff (my Ex) came over to help me with a yard project that the city demanded. The lilac bushes and a tree were hanging over the front yard fence too much, too low--making folks walking the sidewalk along the Avenue duck &/or dodge. It definitely was productive. The threat of having the City come in and do it and then CHARGING ME rather big bucks for the work is an effective thing, ya know. Thank you for being there and know that I will be as careful as I can. May your week be full of Positivity.

Yup! It was, indeed, hard and lotsa. Fortunately, I knew it would be and had tackled bits and pieces through the week and some then. None the less, Jeff did do the hard parts and a fair bit of of the bulk that's been done. Of course, there's still more clean-up to finish.

Yes. The talking was good. I just wish he'd taken time to TALK to me about problems a year and a half ago, before he took other actions. sigh. Maybe it wouldn't have made a change.
