Bless her! It's wonderful to hear that she's so full of energy and joy in life. But yes, I think she will be a handful, and you have absolutely made the right decision.

The right dog for you is out there. I hope he or she comes along soon.

Isn't it a magical wonder to know that a mistreated animal can recover and find joy again? I'm so glad for her.

Thank you so much, Dear Lady, for your comments. I do plan to keep searching for the pup that's waiting for me. And I, too, hope it's soon.

I am so sorry that it didn't work out for you and Maple. :(
It's great that she's discovered her happy puppy self again, definitely a lot of puppy to handle now. :o

Thank you, Jon. I'm disappointed to still be pet-less, but I am so delighted to picture Maple dashing around with that tail whipping back and forth in excitement and joy. I just hope her Right Family will find her soon.

Happy to hear she is doing well, and sad that she cannot come and live with you. I am beginning to feel similarly about young cats. They have SO MUCH energy. This might be my last go with young cats ever again.

Your comment just made me think of my poor Mother with us TEN children to deal with for decades. I wonder if she ever thought: "This is my last go with another youngster ever again." 😄 🥰 🤩 😜

Since she was a gentle, loving woman, I doubt she ever reached that point . . . but one never knows.
