I'm so sorry. Thank God the house was empty, though. My mom's aunt had the intruder holding a knife under a throat, and her head was hit into a wall, she got a concussion. Tsk tsk. Anywhere pun tak selamat.

That scares me the most! Everywhere's not safe, kan? I get extra paranoid at night - afraid that they'd break in when everyone's asleep. It's a crazy world we live in. Macam turned back to zaman Jahiliyah pun ada! =(

I know how it's like. It happened to me when I least expected it. Fortunately, like you, a lot of my valuables were outside of the house. Unfortunately, there were still a lot inside the house (and they took my favourite backpack!) It's not the theft that bothers me so much as it is the thought that someone could have so little empathy as to tear through all of my personal things in search of what might benefit them.
