Note: This is kinda long, and confusing, so read at your own peril ^^;

So, I was just watching You Are My Oppa (Infinite's show, if you're not familiar with the name), and I started thinking (shocking, right?) and came to a realization.

Just to clarify, I'm perfectly fine having friends who have different biases than me. In fact, two of my closest ( Read more... )

IMMA GO BACK TO MY MBLAQ LOVELIES AND TURN LUCIFER BACK ON <3

YES STICK TO THE SPAZZING YOU KNOW BEST AND FORGET ABOUT THE REST.

Seriously though I think someone being really obsessive over something you're not as fussed about can really make you go 'ehhh not this again'. I think it's a normal thing. I'm usually fine with it as long as the person lets me spazz about my bias just as much, so maybe that's the problem to one sided maybe? meh I don't know like you said it's confusing and you've just confused me.

DONE AND DONE <3

It's like, I have no probelms with them spazzing to me as long as they know I'm not going to be quite as excited as they are. But... idk, the more they spazz about one person, the less I care about that person, seeing as how I didn't pay attention to them much in the first place :/

Lol I told you to read at your own risk xD CONSEQUENCES WILL NEVA BE DA SAME

First of all, I'm here to say that I completely second what these other two people said, word for word.

And also, that I understand. This hasn't happened to me yet with KPop but this rational applies to many other facets of my life. For me I think it's more that I feel something is being forced upon me, and I'm the type of person that needs to come to like something on my own terms, because if you try to force me to like something then I'm not going to like it. My friends will tell me I need to watch all these TV shows all the time and I normally don't, not because I don't trust their judgement but because I just need to come to that on my own And then the more they talk to me about said TV show, the less I want to go watch it... hahah

It's a sad, twisted web that is woven, but it happens :p STICK TO WHAT YOU LOVE AND MAKES YOU HAPPY! Maybe one day you'll come around on your own terms but until then who caaares! ENJOY MBLAQ AND SHINEE THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW RLY ;D

Yeah, I guess it's a good thing that I have other friends to spazz about my biases with, because if I didn't then this whole situation would really suck. I'm fine with being introduced to new things, but when I'm not really a fan of whatever new thing I find, it's kinda hard because I don't want to hurt my friends feelings by coming out and saying I don't like it, because I know how much they like it, idk this whole thing hurts mah brain D:

I WILL BB <3 I HAVE MY BLAQIES AND SHINEE TO KEEP ME INTERESTED WHILE I WAIT FOR COMEBACKS :3

OMG ARE YOU MY BFF????
she's the same lmao so yes, i understand you and i think it's normal.
if someone is shoving a certain group/person in your face when you're obviously not so interested in them, you'll definitely get bored.
and the last part sounds like me...
i ADORE Beast, call me a bad fan/stan for this, but without a reality or come back i just can not spazz over them -_-''
and how in the word i can keep my burning love for them when i can only see them in old vids/photos or w/e
+ when someone makes an awesome come back, SHINee, you can only enjoy their beauty and spazz about them
negl, rn i'm kinda ignoring everything, i can only think about shinee :| fml

OK, THIS CAME OUT CONFUSING TOO IDEK

Exactly, it's like, I know you're in love with them and I'm glad you have a group that does that for you, but I'm just... not that interested in them :/

If I called you a bad fan/stan then I'd be a hypocrite, because as much as I love Big Bang they've been gone for so long that I'm having a hard time getting back into them ):

It's a good thing SHINee's comeback was so awesome, because if I didn't love it so much I'd only be left with my BLAQies ;A;

THIS WHOLE THING HURTS MAH BRAID IDEK

I think that fangirling is similar to being in love. You get all the butterflies and want to spend every second of your life near the person you love. You can talk (or more like spazz) about them for hours and hours and never get tired. Suddenly, the initial attraction wears out and if there's nothing new, exciting or intriguing left unless you make some effort, you're going to break up. Afterwards, you certainly do not need your friends to remind you of all the good times because you're kind of sick and tired and want a break. I've had that happen with Arashi. I was a total stan and then after 1,5 year I could no longer look at them. Going back into liking them is taking a lot of time and effort. The occasional spazzing of my bff about how amazing Nino is, is not helping though. There's a reason why I don't like him in particular anymore and do NOT want to hear about him ( ... )

EXACTLY

I want to let my friends have their fun and spazz, but at the same time I can't get excited with them and then I start feeling bad when I make uninterested comments because they're all like "can't you just be excited :/"

;A; NO I CAN'T BECAUSE I DON'T LOVE THEM LIKE YOU DO.

Idk, it's just with how easily some of my friends get emo over the littlest things I don't want to say something that'll make them get all depressed. But yeah, I'll try letting them know that if they spazz to much about people I'm not interested in it turns me off of them even more than I already am.

AND LUCIFER HELPS SO MUCH ASLKFJASDF BRB LISTENING TO IT AGAAAAIN~

You're friends are not coincidently around 20 maybe? Usually people get more chill about fangirling when they become older...It is supposed to be fun after all. No srs bsbs. You know, you can always just start massively spazzing bout shinee and make them have a bit of their own medicine. Such a method works wonders 8D

LISTEN AWAY BB XD

My older friends are pretty chill, but it's the younger one's that are online more often than not, so I talk to them more (and obviously, they're the ones who do the most spazzing lol).

*sigh* It's hard being the mature one T^T Lol but yeah, hopefully they'll learn that spazzing should be more about fun and less about "OMGILOVEHIMSOOOOOOOMUCHGRAAAAAAH" xD

8D That... is a wonderful idea. SHINEE SPAZZ ATTACK = GO.
