Creepy Forturn Cookies

A creepy fortune cookie reads:

"Each day begins in darkness;
don't overvalue the light"

Has anyone else seen a fortune like that? I sure haven't.

that sounds like something you would write, if someone were silly enough to put you in charge of fortune cookie writing. You would creep the heck out of patrons and put the fortune cookie business at a loss. They never should have hired you.
