Time by Covenant
Psalm 25
14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.
Our heavenly Father counts time by covenant.... In His Word we have:
1.The Adamic Covenant
2.The Noahic Covenant
3.The Abrahamic Covenant
4.The Moseic Covenant
5.The Davidic Covenant
6.The New Covenant (We're somewhere here toward the end of this covenant....)
7.The Everlasting Covenant
Israel is our Father's time piece, and at the center of prophecy. One only has to look at the blossoming of Israel, count the covenants, and compare it with scripture (all in light of an intimate relationship with Christ through His Spirit) to see how far we've come prophetically.
Matthew 24
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Just as you may hear on the weather channel that their will be severe thunderstorms on a certain day. No one can tell the exact moment that the rain will fall. But we're capable of observing the signs of the approaching storm. The gathering of clouds, a darkening sky, a picking up of the wind, a distant sound of thunder, a flash of lightning, the silence before the storm.... Jesus said in His Word that there would be signs that we would be able discern. We will be able to tell when He is right at the door, but not the exact moment of His coming.
1 Thessalonians 5
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Don't be caught sleeping.... Blessings to all.
