and why are all of the other christian and jesus and god communities being hypocrites by having their membership moderated... if you are supposed to accept everyone, then why moderate it?

As far as having comms moderated, it's not being hypocritical. It's simply making sure that the spammers aren't trying to hack into anyone's account.

Well quite frankly, it's being looked at the wrong way.

God could simply give someone patience but would that person learn anything? Not really. Would that person then be able to teach another person how to have patience? Not at all.

We are allowed to be in certain situations so that we can gain understanding. If we take the lessons from hardship we can most certainly use them to teach future generations on how to live. In this day and age where everything is constant being updated and the whole motto is, "Now now now, more more more!" I'm looking to my grandparents for wisdom on how to be content with what we have. I am also looking to the older generations for help on how to cope with a situation like the Great Depression.

It's by dealing with the unfortunate things that we can actually learn. If everything was perfect, then this wouldn't be a fallen world. But because it is fallen, we have to be educated. There is great teaching in sorrow.

And as far as proof goes, well, God could stop all those things if He wanted to but then He would be contradicting the fact that He gave mankind free will. For me, I know my proof about God being real and it works fine for me because I don't need a huge miracle or a column of fire to believe that God is who He says He is. For me, I see God in everything. I had two dwarf hamsters and one loved to escape his cage. Everyone I have ever talked to about escaping gerbils/hamsters have told me that the animals always die because they are never caught again yet our little ones have always been recovered. And it wasn't by chance or science or anything, but simply because God helped direct us to them ( ... )

how the hell does you finding your hamsters mean that god exists? and why even make sin a possibility? i mean give us free will, but don't make sin available. and why does he allow cancer in people that don't sin and that do everything they are supposed to do? why does that happen?

If God didn't want sin to be availible He'd take away freewill. And honestly, saying "in people that don't sin" is really a personal opinion because we're all sinners. To even feel anger breaks one of the ten commandments. If anyone has ever cut in front of someone while driving, gotten a bit of roadrage, or even had the slightest lust for someone, that's a sin ( ... )

Nobody can PROVE to you that God exists when you seem to want to deny it anyway. Jesus told us about having faith, and faith involves being open to something that can't be seen with our limited human logic. He even said that anybody who wants to go out of their way to tell themselves God doesn't exist will find all the evidence they need. Why does he do this? Because God is about love. God IS love. And forcing somebody to love is unhealthy every time ( ... )
