this is the worst i've ever felt doing the right thing.
when i was in kindergarten, i asked my mom to tell me the truth about Santa Claus. i told her that i wanted to believe he was real but that, the more i thought about it, the less i understood it all. it just didn't make SENSE that one man could make it all around the world in one night to every little girl and boy! since my dad felt i was too young

at some point in serious relationship
it is mature and healthy to let the other person go for a significant amount of time.
to allow yourself and the other to grow individually.
that way when you find each other again
you will have both found exactly everything that you need except for one another
and then together, everything can be perfect.

i can only imagine how hard that decision was for you two...
thinking of breaking up with kristen while i'm still so in love with her makes me feel sick.
but it is good that you two did what you feel is right in the long run. i don't think i'm strong enough to do that!
anyway, if you ever want to talk, i'm in your basement! although i'll understand if you opt for your sister, who i'm just guessing can offer you a little more insight than i ever could! =]
