He already had some of the personality traits; others were easy enough to fake.

I really like this idea that he's still trying to fit in (with what the definition says he should be) even as he deliberately distances himself.

Great fic! It could be very useful to assume the role/label of a sociopath for someone like Sherlock. Loved that John was able to see right through it.
