Help almighty flist! I need some information for a new suits fic that I am working on. I know that when people get arrested in my fair country of the UK they are given a speech about their rights. Do they have a similar thing in the US? If so, what is it? Basically I need to know the procedures for someone getting arrested in the US. I have tried ( Read more... )

I only know this from watching US TV shows, but they read them their Miranda Rights? I just looked it up and there's a wiki page on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miranda_warning if that's any help! :)

Oh yeah! I love answering medical questions with "I saw on ER" "I saw on House..." *big grin*
