What I do is open the windows a little to air out the place and meanwhile make some very hot and very strong chicken broth. Squeeze a few lemons into it and keep sipping and holding a cupful to stay warm. If it is salty that's a good bonus also.
i am so so sad that they cancelled my big gay show. it's really my one tv indulgence at this point, and i kinda like having one hour of official brain-rotting time in my week. maybe i'll have to start watching the o.c.?
Sorry to hear that you're on the ropes. We've got a version of that floating around our place, which I've thus far managed to avoid. From what I've observed, though, it's no damn fun.
I've been lucky to avoid it, but at the same time, I feel like I'm in about month four of being on the cusp of almost, just about to, could happen any minute, getting really sick. I've seen what the sick looks like, and I'm in no hurry to get it. On the other hand, getting it and getting it over with has a certain appeal. Part of the ongoing frustration with all the "almost, but not quite" facets of my current existence.
I'm sad, but not terribly surprised by the Angel news. On the other hand, I'm getting broody vampire muppetry (with an Edlund script to boot -- anyone want to lay odds my head won't explode) before the end, so I can't get too upset.

which i mostly did.

thing sounds intriguing.
i tend to go for
lemons and honey
in hot water,
but i wonder about
the chickens, too.
