Have you let them know that you're not going to be able to pay?

This was at the bottom of the auction..

Note: Due to some recent defaults in payments by bidders, we have instigated the following new policy: ALL BUY NOW WINS REQUIRE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL. ALL OTHER WINS REQUIRE PAYMENT AT OF CLOSE OF AUCTION. FAILURE TO DUE SO WILL RESULT IN A BAN FROM THE SITE AND A PLACEMENT OF ACCOUNT INTO COLLECTIONS.

yeah i've already emailed them and got an answer back saying the bid is going to be reposted and that i may have taken away a real bidders chance to win the trip. that just made me feel even worse then i already do.

Aw, that sucks.

So I'm guessing that they're going to keep the $4,500 bid up there then.

How did it get from 799 to 4,500 so quickly? Are the increments per bid like... huge?

i don't know why they increased the amount. it started at 799 which i could have paid but then when i saw after i had already bought it it said 4,500 dollars then i immeditly took my bid off. then i emailed the poster and told them it was a huge mistake and that i was very sorry for wasting their time. I would have been so happy if i could have went to la and met the cast of bones and why would they put so much money anyway? how is a normal person supposed to pay that kind of money? i would have to save my allowence for like 5 years before i get to that amount.
