Still mostly spoiler free for the movie, and decided to head in a different direction with Mulder & Scully than I usually do, just to see what it feels like. It feels... unnatural.

So, pre-movie (28 hours -- how sad is it that I'm counting?), post series, and as far as I know, spoiler-free.

We just saw it! I agree 100% with your review. Is it the best movie ever? No. But is it a satisfying take on the characters and where they are now? Yes. Yes, indeed.

My biggest gripe is that they turned off the film and turned on the lights before the end of the credits, so we didn't get to see the scene that came after. :(
