Why is it that the screencap count gets bigger every single time? Why can't I work out which ones to toss out? Why am I so indecisive.

But hey, it's the Void Quest dungeon. Sure, why not? /o/

So, as it turns out, Mr Morooka is now a dead body. We even get a nice close-up of it, actually.

Junes is supposed to be their secret headquarters, but for one reason or another they're here instead. Well, it's quiet at least?

Courage to attack the piling meat, and diligence, to keep eating.

It takes all of that to finish the Mega Beef Bowl!

And the reason would be this. Yes, you do need to max out those stats if you want to finish it, and it takes an entire afternoon to do so (failing will raise said stats a bit, so it's not a complete waste.)

Yep, whole afternoon gone.

Eating beef bowls will show you the way. Totally. But because they didn't manage to finish eating it all, they have to pay.

Oh yeah, also; they were openly talking about the murders and that they're involved in some way- in an empty place where the ramen guy and a classmate could hear them. Good job guys. (That said, neither mention a thing, so are either deaf, have selective hearing or- actually, no, nevermind. Clearly it doesn't matter.)

They decide to go to Junes so they can ask Teddie some questions.

Well, at least they didn't need to make the trip through the TV?

WHAT.

Well, anyway. Teddie apparently grew a body, and the girls rush off to get him some clothes. They all meet up again at a different location, and Teddie happens to look rather fabulous.

That said, where's Teddie's real sel

Oh.

Bwahahahaha

We then jump to Nanako, who's doing the shopping.

Unfortunately, she runs into a creeper with fish eyes. Who decides she was looking at him the wrong way.

Yu randomly to the rescue. Even Nanako asks him why.

The reason:

Ahahaha

And so the kid was traumatised for life.

Silly shenanigans later (and in which Yosuke realises all that money he's saved up was used to pay for Teddie's wardrobe), they run into the boy detective briefly before getting a chance to talk to Rise.

YEAH GLASSES.

"From King Moron to Kashiwagi, things aren't getting any better."

Also, boobs.

After school, Fish Eyes turns up at the school gate, and then attempts to drag Yukiko off somewhere.

It kinda sorta fails, so he runs off.

Anyway, this guy keeps claiming to be the murderer online, but who takes that seriously? Naturally, he's a bit nuts already, so

And then we never saw him again.

The after test meet up is then rudely interrupted by Naoto. Who then manages to piss everyone off while informing them that the killer has given themselves in.

It just had to happen.

Next episode: Void Quest. And that moment when I realise I've taken too many screenshots. Damn it all.

As a dungeon, it's actually pretty nifty. I wouldn't mind a place like that.

During this entire conversation, Teddie is left to deal with the enemies. It's hilarious to watch him flail about.

Like any other time they've chased someone into the TV, there's a shadow present. It can only end well, but hey, fourth time's the charm.

So, having found the killer, the team rush over to put a stop to everything and

O... kay.

Yeah?

Oh, so that's what happened. Right. Sure. Of course.

Time flies by...

They still gather once in a while, but Yukiko is swamped with helping her family at the inn, it seems.

Next month, Rise's left town.

all we talk about is murders, I mean, what a pain.

Why is everyone drifting away like this

;_;

We don't need the stats anymore either.

Yu's the only one who wants to meet up again, it seems. Everyone else is living their lives elsewhere~

I mean, even Yosuke is saying that the whole thing's done and should be forgotten, more or less.

Cutting over to Yu in his room

WHA

GIANT BABY OUT OF NOWHERE AAAAAA

Also, Yu desperately tries to summon things, but can't. Oh, and the creepy baby thing tells him he's empty. Life fading away aside-

Someone's calling him back to the light.

Oh, hey Yosuke.

AHAHAHAHA

No, really; it manages to be both awesome and hilarious.

THIS BOSS >:(

Probably one of the worst, simply because you have to cause enough damage to get rid of the armour to even reach this creepy baby thing, and you only have so much time (or have to do a certain amount of damage) before the armour comes back up. And this is while it's capable of doing all-party damage and status effects without stopping. Ever.

I actually managed to lose to it because of an instant kill that could have been easily avoided. All my hate right there.

Naturally, they don't have a hard time dealing with the whole armour-rebuilding thing.

And that's very generous of you, man. Yu takes him up on the offer.

BY SUMMONING EVERY PERSONA IN HIS HEAD.

That's a good question. By then... twelve slots, maybe?

And now he's just showing off.

Also, no one in their right mind would keep Izanagi at this point. Just saying.

Threat dealt with, Mitsuo just keeps going on about how he's the murderer. He just wants acknowledgement.

Unlike other shadows, this one simply breaks apart and disappears. Uh...

Mitsuo is then driven off to the police station.

SHOW'S OVER, TIME TO PARTY.

Obviously, all that weird stuff Yu experienced was in his head. So we're back in July.

Because they're friends, right? Right.

That said; four of them are in the same class, and they all attend the same school. What the hell are you worrying about man.

Just... look at them. Look at them.

Chie's the one speaking, by the way.

Amazing culinary skills all around.

Damn it, sometimes Teddie is the best.

Well, she's gone.

Naturally. Tastes good and doesn't kill you.

Teddie mentions that, since Yu and Yosuke kept their promise, he has to go back. Nanako gets him to make a new promise.

Oh Nanako :3

That said, those two switched to first-names pretty easily.

And so, dead teacher aside, they all lived happily ever after.

Now it's time to sink hours training, item collecting, social linking and all that~

Next episode: time to sit back and relax. Nanako has no idea as to what's going on.

And as an aside: my attempts to finish that 2011 write up (books/manga/whatever version) don't seem to be working very well at all. I guess being unable to gush about how pretty things are (plus gameplay, music, etc) causes me to sit and stare at the screen. Hmm- well, I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually. Or never, one or the other.

That said, Carpe Fulgur's next (localised) game, Fortune Summoners, is getting released on the 17th 24th (for a couple of reasons) 30th (reasons for delay here), so that's something to look forward to.

And I'm currently playing Muramasa: The Demon Blade, which has really beautiful 2D graphics, just saying. Also, any game which shows us a variety of food is always good in my books.

= persona, damn you html, anime, brb. gaming forever, external linking, yay screenshots
