It really wasn't too bad. Just make sure you use 100% wool or it probably won't felt right.

your skill amazes me. i can barely concentrate on a cross stitch, and ask my mom do the french knots for me. ;)

Felting is very easy, the trick is to check the object often and block it. But throw it in the machine in a pillow case in very hot water and you are ready to felt.
