I'll add my new place ritual - first things over the threshold - bread & salt. Bread is for prosperity that you may always have that which you need. Salt is for savor that life in the new home be rich and flavor-filled.
I also salt the perimeters of the rooms for cleansing and purity. You can also make up salt water from salt and spring water and sprinkle the new home with that.
