Lynam

So we went to see Lynam Friday night. I think it was honestly one of the most fun shows they've done yet. They did a lot of their original stuff, which was freaking awesome. And they were all in a good mood and goofing off, it was hilarious. They're pretty awesome guys, and it doesn't hurt that the drummer's hot.

Jacob, the lead singer (Former lead singer/guitarist for Mars Electric)

Jacob and his glittery green Fender Stratocaster

David, the drummer

Mark, the bass player

I'm not entirely sure what Jacob's trying to do here, but it was amusing.

More Dave.

This picture of Jacob is interesting. It amuses me.

And a last one of David.

We take more pics of Dave and Jacob because they're more interesting on stage. Mark just kinda stands there, and when he actually sings he looks like he's in pain. So we end up taking the most pictures of the other two. And hey, Dave is kinda hot.

Seriously though, they're going on tour this summer with Warrant and Cinderella...if you get a chance to see them, it's worth it. Then you'll wish you lived in AL so you could go see them as much as I do. (over 20 times so far.)

The only thing that sucks? That was probably the last show we'll get to see before they go on tour, which means it'll be at LEAST september before we get to see them again. I'll go crazy without my Lynam fix!

They have a new album being released in august, the first single is called "Save My Soul". I'm hoping this one gets more airplay than "Tanis" did and hopefully will catch them a major-label record deal. They DESERVE it. Though if they do I won't get to see them as much, or get to talk to them like I do now, cause they'll be playing much bigger venues. But it's okay. They work their asses off schlepping their own shit around, playing little rat-holes like The Galaxy. Go to their myspace (myspace.com/lynam) and give their music a listen, especially "Save My Soul". They rock my socks, not just because they're talented musicians, but also 'cause they're pretty cool guys.
