You should tell him. If anything, for your own sanity. Easier said than done, I know ... but, imagine how free you'd feel having said it out loud, to his face. :)

Yeah, and I get so close sometimes, so close to just blurting it out. But then I freeze. I just can't force the words to come out.

And he came by the store again today and stayed almost an hour and a half. I think maybe he's trying to drive me crazy ( ... )

Sounds to me like he's at least pondering it now.

Guys are weird -- sometimes if you take a step back in attempts to let them make the first move, they up and decide that you're not interested.

Then again, if you're too forward, they freak out and run away.
