Life has been pretty crazy for the past few weeks. I've had OTP, wedding planning, Velvet training and honeymoon arrangements to keep me occupied. OTP was as usual, fantastic. the africa safari sounds so exciting! i can't wait to see your pictures and hear your stories...

*hug* if it helps any, i sent off my passport to get the visa for brazil and it came back just fine.

I'm looking into renting a 400mm lens to get me close to animals, without being too close. :) The only problem is that there is a 15kg limit on luggage and that lens and camera body are quite heavy. I might have to take less clothing than I want so that I can carry the camera stuff. I'll be naked, but i'll have some damn good pictures! ;)

p.s. My passport seems to have arrived ok at the embassy. Step one complete. :)

why didn't you get to wear your kilt? i'm sure even if you were otherwise-engaged at corset-n-kilt-o-clock (that was while you guys were there, right? i always get the sequence-of-events & the roll-call blurred after i get back), it would have fit right in any other time too!!

I didn't wear my kilt cuz my tummy was feeling a bit delicate. :( My kilt is several years old and doesn't quite fit so well anymore, I'm afraid the tightness would have pushed me over the edge.

I will wear it at some point, no worries. Just got to remember not to eat for a few days before I want to wear it. :)
