The boy finished washing, then looked at himself in the mirror, staring at the slightly scarred left cheek, and the angry red tan most that his face (and much of the front half of his body) bore...
He looked like a different person.
Are you?
He looked at Fayt's note, lying on the sink.
Best get this over with...
He sighed and walked up to Fayt's room, rapping on the door.
I'm sure you know why you're both here. Look. I'm didn't call both of you guys here to kiss up and go on your merry way. One, you're going to listen to me. Two, if you don't do what I saw, you'll regret it. Three, ignore both, and you'll pissed me off more so than I am now. You do that, your life is in danger. And my rage is worse than a bull that sees red.
Now look. Don't think you can get away with things like this. I know what you do. If it's not me, it's Kyio. We know what goes on around here. And if it's no either of us, it's the Chairman. I know you two don't get along and I'm not going to ask you do. But what I DON'T need is unnecessary casualties
( ... )
Touya was used to scoldings... He was used to disappointing people, not living up to their expectations... He usually could shrug these of because either he didn't care about that person's opinions, or he knew he deserved it.
Neither however applied here. Fayt was someone he respected... her words mattered, and hence, they hurt.
And there was no way, in his mind, that he deserved them.
"So the next time someone throws a grenade at me, or a death spell, I'll just... I dunno, count to ten and take deep breaths. I'm sure that'll help."
"But you know Fayt... fine," he said softly, "I'll keep your words in mind. When I think about how I tried to be there for you when I could, how I tried to understand when you did something I thought was wrong, how I respected you through it all - I'll remember what you said to me today. Every. Word."
[OOC: Sorry for this @_@ He's in a terrible mood. please don't be shooting the Touya.]
Jin stood still, looking away from the two of them. This would be over soon. It'd be over soon...
He had no intentions of answering their questions. He had no intentions of going to the hospital. He had no desire to pin any blame on Touya, nor did he care in the slightest what consequences could possibly be in store for himself.
He just wanted to leave. He needed to get out of here... He shouldn't have returned in the first place. Maybe Fayt was distracted by Touya's unusual behavior...
That's not what I'm saying and you know that. I know I don't know who threw the first punch but you went out there with the intent to hurt Jin didn't you? Murder isn't something planned. I mean it might not mean much to Jin, but I don't know what I would do if I lost either of you. I would feel responsible.
I--

-notices Jin's moments and goes to take his hand. her voice sounds broken and upset-
Jin don't go anywhere. I'm not done with you. Just don't go yet...
Touya...
You know more than anyone who's new around here that I want to be there for them. But if you don't come to me, I don't know what's going on and I don't know and I'm left in the dark. In these type of situations, I want to help so stuff like this can be avoided.

I just want to get you guys checked out. Just to make sure it's not serious.

Come in.
-sees Touya-
Sit.

Still, one did not get to be Yamada Touya without developing a sort of immunity to scoldings.
With a put-upon sigh, Touya flopped into a nearby chair.

You know where you're going. Turn around and walk up two flights of stairs.

He stepped quietly towards the door.
