What a great report, sweets. I am so, so glad that you got to experience seeing Jensen perform live, and along with Steve too. :)
Isn't Like Rock and Roll and Radio a hauntingly beautiful song? This is one of the ones I cried over at the LA Jam Session.
There were security guards there and an ipod music set-up? You are right, that was far more formal than the LA one.
I'm so glad to hear that you had a grand time.
Regarding Fangasm, Lynn and Kathy and I go way back to the beginning. They're great, eh? Everyone involved with the book is sure hoping it's still going to happen. I loved being interviewed for the book and I sure hope it gets published.
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful experience.
I did love that song; I can see how it comforts him. The whole experience was a privilege.
I love reading the Fangasm reports. I've never met either of them, to my knowledge, but I'm sure they must be lovely... and persuasive. I know from my husband's experiences how hard it can be to get a book published, but I would love to see their book come out, I will definitely buy a copy or three! That said, I'm not above being insanely jealous of their ins with, and insights to, the stars. ::guilty grin:: Of course I would have had no idea how to make it happen even if I'd had the idea first; kudos to them for going for it and producing something that we all love. Follow your dreams!
I'll be emailing you soon, sweetie :) Thanks for stopping by.
What a lovely report, Linda. Reading the few accounts like yours of the jam session I almost feel like I was there...almost. I'll have to try putting together another music mix of their playlist like I did with Jensen and Jason's. ;)
Are you going to be at VanCon this year? Sorry if you already told me or I already asked. :P
Thank you, Val. I'm sure everyone would love to see you put that mix together! Knowing the music played does help make the experience more real for people who couldn't be there. And yes, I'll see you in Vancouver!
You've heard Steve and Christian Kane so many times it makes me dizzy, and I'm so happy for you for being able to do that! I had other friends who were there for Steve as much as/more than Jensen. But you know where my heart lies!
