The Slice Girls, SPN 713 (spoilers?):
If I don't post this now it will be another Chuck-knows-how-long while before I post anything, so I'm just blurting out a couple things I need to say about "The Slice Girls".
I expected not to like this, because I'd gotten the impression it was going to be "weird", and not in a good way. You know, jokey at the expense of good. I was wrong. It was great. And Jerry Wanek's directorial debut was very good.
I thought Jensen was on fire tonight, acting-wise. All the subtle nuances he is so gifted at were back, and I don't know if it was the lighting or what but the camera absolutely loved his face. Frankly, I've been a little "meh" (comparatively) about the acting in the last few episodes, and that may have just been where my head has been, but I haven't been just OMG-YAY-IT's-SUPERNATURAL-NIGHT for a few weeks. But baby I'm back, and so is Dean.
Jared seemed a little off tonight, though. YMMV. And granted,Sam did not have much to do but sit and throw bitch-faces at Dean and do research, so who am I to judge?
And.... Bobby. Bobbybobbybobby. ::flailing ineffectually:: That is all.
Oh, yeah... and there was some smokin' hot sex. Which I of course comment on last because I don't want to objectify my boy. :)
I may post something intelligent later. Or not. But I had to get this out at least.
