[Hanako would never mistake that voice for anything else, even hearing it from upstairs while she gets ready for school in her room. In her shock she simply gets her hair brush drop to the floor in the middle of using it, and then she can't scramble down the stairs fast enough. She stands in the entrance of the kitchen, somewhat breathless and shocked and overwhelmed to see someone so familiar.]

L... Lilly!

[ Lilly stops speaking the moment she hears the sound of the footsteps- but when she hears the voice, she is started but doesn't do anything, though her expression changes to a very relieved smile. ]

Hanako? [ a little sigh of relief ] ... Thank goodness you're here. This isn't Yamaku, is it?

[facefear]

[Without minding the drone mother, Hanako rushes across the room to hug her friend tightly- even clingier than usual.] N-no, no, it's not... Lilly, I-I can't believe you're really here! [She's stammering a bit.]
