I went to see "Closer" today before my editor's meeting. It's not at all what I had expected. It's really complicated and, well....mature. There is a lot that goes on and there so many circles that at times it becomes annoying. But in the end it all just proves a point. I saw it alone because I need time to kill in-between work and the meeting. I

that's the great thing. he's really open and curious about the things i like. i dont expect him to suddenly change and like what i like. liking the same things isn't as important, you're right. what's important is that he understands what i like and respects it. we are allowed to be individuals and have our own tastes. you can also learn a lot from someone who is not like you. you learn a lot about yourself this way too.

besides, our conversations aren't always about movies and music. so its not that big of deal anyways. he makes me laugh and i make him laugh. if we didn't have that in common then i wouldn't be there with him at all.
