Well, after Dave and I finally broke up, I wanted to get the hell out of Dodge. I was pretty close to moving to Arizona and settling in for a year, then reapplying to programs there. But in a fit of turmoil, I made myself write out a pros and cons list of staying vs. moving. I decided that 1) I don't want to keep stalling on reaching my actual career, so I can't wait another 1-2 years if I move, 2) I like being close, but not TOO close to my mom and friends, and 3) I do like the program a lot. They have a mental health and a family/couples therapy concentration (I chose the former, but might try to do both) that are really good. It was a practical choice that will allow me to get things going and at least move to a more active city and live on my own like I wanted. And lastly, I can move to Phoenix after I graduate and get licensed there. They need therapists badly in that area

no matter where people go, they always say to me, "Hey, there's a medical school here. You should check it out."
My list already includes Loyola, Northwestern, Penn State, Tulane, Case Western, UPitt, Boston University, Jefferson, Ohio State, George Washington, UVermont, East Virginia, SUNY Upstate and of course the Florida schools.
