well, i also don't believe that people can truly change. however, i feel that as people grow, they learn who they really are. it's almost like you start off as a block of marble and as you get older, the world around you chips away at the marble until the sculpture begins to reveal itself. once you start to see what you're becoming, it's easy to fall into that mold or shape. not so much changing into something new, but discovering what or who you actually are.
