I just watched a movie called Idiocracy. In this movie, because dumb people tend to reproduce more then smart people, idiots ended up ruling the world. I'm not saying I pretend to be smart.. but it made me REALLY sad to see a world like that... and scared, because I KNOW peolple that stupid ( Read more... )

Perhaps abortion needs to be more available. Slaughter the stupid people early enough, it improves the genes. Ah, lovely lovely eugenetics.

the problem is that the smart ppl are smart enough not to breed like it's going out of style. they take their time and plan it out, doing what they can to provide a safe, educational environment for their children to grow up in. plus, there's the whole thing about labor being a pain and the fact that kids cost ALOT of time and money that they'd rather spend on themselves and so you got the smart ppl not breeding as often and stuff. BUT there is slight proof that smart ppl are breeding more and more. it's going to take some time before the numbers balance out, but we're getting there! :) just don't tell my mother any of this! she wants more grandchildren! ahhhh!

Or, you know, smart people could make themselves available to adopt more, and petition for there to be a test required to have a child bearing license or something. That way either the only ones legally allowed to reproduce are higher than a certain IQ, or like, children are adopted by smart people and they get a better chance to raise their IQ through general education.

Yeah, I saw that movie too. I liked it, but it did have a scary proposition.
