It was only $149 at EB, with the instrument pack! I think they had it for like, $89 new, so you might as well get the pack and sell it on ebay XD

I had to buy new drumsticks, though - the ones that came with my set were heavily warped, which made it really hard to play upper level songs on hard.

Luckily, everything in our pack worked, a friend's pack that they bought at Christmas had a faulty multi-tap :( Maybe later on I'll buy nicer drumsticks, these are really light and a little splintery. I'll have at them with some sandpaper first.

"Confessed" was apt -- he gave me a hard time about it when we first started playing it. :-P

Somewhere I have pictures of some friends playing with us. Their son was about 4 at the time, I think. He and reesei played guitar together -- he'd get to hit the green and red buttons, and she did everything else. Very cute.

And then he sang "Don't Fear the Reaper" and "Blitzkrieg Bop", which was hilarious. He did a really good job at sight reading! Sure, he said "wind" as in "breeze", not as in "winding up a top", but he was able to do it at all. I was totally impressed.
