I know I know. I'm never around. I miss writing sooo freaking much. I really want to write fanfiction again. But I just get so freaking tired of looking at the computer these days that most of the time I just spend the time daydreaming the story instead of writing it. ...it's so cool that your daughter is pushing you to finish your fics. ^_^ i love it. (i look forward to the day when we can genuinely live as if the new 52 never happened. i just hope they can salvage some of the characters, particularly Dick Grayson. sighs.)

i think 95% of roleplay is about living vicariously through the characters, and it can get reallyreally dicey as far as... essentially people getting mental health therapy from unqualified sources. =X it's tricky stuff. i hope you can find a nice balance!!

LOL I actually have three of them that are heavy into fanfic. Two of which are slash fans. The 17 and 15 year old are heavy into Slash fic and love the pre-52 universe. (They like me are pretending 52 hasn't happened and never will happen. OMG I read about what they did to the Flash comics and my precious Wally!) /shakes fist/ The 15 year old wants me to finish some other fandoms, but the 17 year old is like DC NOW MOMMA! The 13 year old isn't allowed near certain areas, nor is she interested in the same fandoms as I or her sisters. So she kind of doesn't care because she follows other sites/authors/fandoms ( ... )

Just a quick note to say it is great to see you on LJ again, and hope that real life will allow a little ficcing now and then - don't forget, all work and no play..... think how you would advise someone else!

XD True. Though for the last few days I've been getting some gaming in on the Xbox 360. I have a weakness for Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Fable games. Had to get my game-fix in too. I need to go back and start downloading or reloading my older unfinished work and re-read it to be honest. It's been sooooo looooong.
