Wonderful post to read. Reminds me of all the brave people across the world fighting for justice and representation this year.

Thank you! When I last wrote one of these, in 2005, I talked about the small things that survive beyond expectation in our lives. This season seemed to cry out for a post about action rather than nurturing, though both are clearly needed.

I hope all is well and warm in your cozy little home and that you both have a wonderful year!

You should be a newspaper columnist! Wonderful opinions! ext_1204640 May 11 2012, 18:21:07 UTC
Erin,
I have read several of your journal entries, and I want to say to you that they are "Spot on!". You have wonderful insight, and your arguments and examples are very logical and rational without any form of "ranting and raving". I have bookmarked your journal for future reference into the 'insightful'. Your renditions about the state of current reality and events is impressive with wording that I could never express on my own. I am so impressed with your intelligence and command of the English language. Each of your entries could be that 'epiphany moment' for others.
