And trust me: You're a good person. You seriously do mean well. I suspect you're just making the mistake of identifying any legitimate desires you have as proof of your own evil.
Mostly you need to develop a social network at this point. Preferably a healthy one. When you finally get that job - whatever it is - that process should accelerate.
Also, realize: This is LJ. It's here for bitching rants. So feel free to embrace the inner bitch. :-)
